The Fantasy Farm Fhantoms is a Horse 4-H Club located in Turner, Oregon. Our club begain
in 1998 with 6 members and has now grown to over 15. We are very active in Marion County, particpating in many
of the County clinics, horse judging, horse bowl, County Fair, and many local and 4-H horse shows.
We hold a monthly business/riding meeting where we discuss business, work on records, and sharpen
our horsemanship skills. The club also hosts a Christmas party and summer pool party/barbeque, as well as a year-end
awards banquet to honor our members for their accomplishments and efforts during the past year.
As a club we have been very successful, mostly because we work hard, try our best, and have
tons of fun. The F.F.F. has been recognized twice in the Northwest Rider and saluted by Double H Western Wear in
their '01 Winter Sales Newsletter. We also have had several members recognized in the Statesmen Journal.
Our members actively participate in community service, as it is an important part of the 4-H
experiance. Our projects include rescueing a neglected Quarter Horse name Shadow, adopting Brick Rd, donating books
to a Hispanic book drive, taking flowers to the Marion Home on May Day, and decorating a Christmas tree for a retirement
home during the holiday season.
Good Job Fhantoms! You all did a wonderful job this past year. Good Luck in the
2004 - 2005 season!
